A six-driver array is optimally positioned to allow custom waveguides to send music in nearly every direction. With wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor coverage, the Era 300 puts you inside your music for a unique and personalized experience. Stream Dolby Atmos Music over Wi-Fi from supported sources, or add an optional second Era 300 to a compatible Sonos soundbar for Dolby Atmos surround sound when watching movies. However you experience the Era 300 in your home, Trueplay will tune the audio to your space and the far-field mic array lets you control it all with your voice.

3-Way Playback

You have a few options when it comes to playing Dolby Atmos Music, podcasts, and more through the Era 300. You can stream spatial audio over your Wi-Fi network, or you can pair a mobile device to stream music and other audio via Bluetooth. With the purchase of an optional Sonos Line-In Adapter and auxiliary cable, you can also connect wired, 3.5mm equipped devices via the USB-C input, such as a turntable. Please note that the USB-C input is only designed to work with the Sonos Line-In Adapter, and both 3.5mm and Bluetooth playback still require the Era 300 to be connected via Wi-Fi with the Sonos app.

Pair for Stereo or Surround

One Era 300 puts you in the center of your music, but with an optional second Era 300 speaker, this surround experience is dramatically elevated with even more power and a wider soundstage. In addition, when paired with your existing Sonos Arc or Beam (Gen 2) soundbar, a pair of Era 300 speakers can give you a true Dolby Atmos experience with rich bass, making movies come alive as sound comes at you from all directions through forward, side, and upfiring tweeters and dual woofers.

Trueplay Room Tuning

Sonos’ Trueplay technology utilizes the Era 300’s built-in far-field microphone array and your Android or iOS mobile device to tune the speaker to your space. Your room’s acoustics are analyzed, and Trueplay optimizes the Era 300’s EQ settings. The result is music that sounds as it should, but you can always tweak the EQ settings yourself through the Sonos app.

Voice or Touch Control

The built-in far-field microphone array is bundled with beamforming technology and multichannel echo cancellation. Altogether, this allows the Era 300 to clearly and accurately pick up your voice, even from across the room, providing effortless control over audio playback. If you’d like more privacy, you always have the option of turning the mics off. If you’re close to the Era 300, you can choose the intuitive touch controls that let you tap and swipe to play, pause, adjust volume, or group the Era 300 with other Sonos speakers you own.

The free Sonos mobile app gives you quick, easy setup and user-friendly control of the Era 300 and other Sonos speakers in your multi-room system. You can create and select playlists from a variety of music sources and have them play in whatever rooms you choose.

Choose from a huge selection of music sources

The Era 300 connects to your home Wi-Fi for access to online streaming services like Spotify®, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and more. And you can stream directly to this speaker from your smartphone via Bluetooth — a convenient way for family and friends to share content.

Control your Sonos system with your voice

A built-in far-field microphone array lets you issue music playback commands with the sound of your voice. Sonos Voice Control uses on-device processing for unmatched privacy. Amazon Alexa compatibility lets you use your Sonos speakers to issue voice commands to smart home devices like lights, locks, and security systems.

High-performance sound

The Era 300 has six drivers, each powered by its own Class-D amplifier. Four tweeters with custom waveguides and two woofers disperse the sound straight ahead, to the left and right, and overhead. You’ll enjoy detailed, balanced stereo sound wherever you are in the room.

Trueplay™ speaker tuning for optimal sound

The Sonos control app also lets you activate Trueplay. This technology uses the mic in your Apple iPhone® or iPad® to measure how the sound reflects off your walls and furnishings. If you’re an Android™ user, Trueplay will use the microphones built into the speaker instead. The Era 300 then adjusts its own settings for the best possible sound.

Compatible with Apple AirPlay 2

The Era 300 has AirPlay 2 built in. That means you can stream audio directly from your iPhone®, iPad®, or Mac® computer through your Sonos system. That includes soundtracks from YouTube® videos and Netflix movies.
